Job Specification: Production Operative *Based in Dunmurry, Belfast*
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and committed Production Operative to join our expanding team in Dunmurry, Belfast.
The Company
Brookvent is an award-winning Northern Ireland based manufacturing company specialising in high-performance ventilation products for residential and light commercial applications. Our diverse and innovative range spans from window trickle vents through to whole house heat recovery ventilation systems sold and specified throughout the UK and exported across the world.
The Role and Key Responsibilities
- Perform general assembly duties in a busy production line.
- Follow and adhere to production processes and specifications.
- Maintain a high standard of quality awareness.
- Test and inspect finished product.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy.
- Adhere to high levels of Health and Safety standards.
- Adaptable and flexible in approach to work, and assist other departments when required.
- Participate in annual stocktakes and any other required cycle counts.
- Perform any reasonable request from Production Supervision.
Key Skills
- Previous experience working in a production environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, paying attention to detail
- Good standard of numeracy/accuracy
- Excellent record keeping
- Well organised / able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
- Effective team member
- Good work ethic to timekeeping and productiveness
- Ability to follow instructions
- Organised and methodical ability to quickly gain product knowledge (Desirable)
Remuneration
- Pay Rate (Weekly): £9.50 – (if over 23)
- Working Hours: 39 Hours Per Week (Mon – Thursday 8:am – 5pm) Friday- (8am-1pm)
- 30 Days Annual Leave including Stats
- Company Pension Contribution
- Life Cover (After 1 years’ service)
