Below we are going to outline the differences between the two acoustic measurements you may come across when comparing window vents.
Dne W
To put it very simply, Dne W is the current standard metric for acoustics. The Dne W reading is produced through testing the window vent in isolation, therefore giving a more accurate representation of the vents own acoustic performance
Dnt RW
Dnt RW is an older metric, with results produced by testing the window vent in a frame.
